February 1, 2011 Red Golfer

Well, here in the midwest we are in the midst of a blizzard.  We will have record levels of snowfall.  Probably 18+ inches.  My DH had a goal of shoveling every hour and a half to keep up with the cover, but his baby snow blower wouldn't keep up.  Well, that means lots of time for card making!  It was so much fun on Facebook this morning keeping up with friends and family around the country, and hearing the different forcasts and weather updates.  I got absolutely nothing done until this afternoon!

The post today was for a golfing friend's birthday.  White cardstock stamped with SU Going Gray as background with a Vap Scrap stamp.  Nestabilities scalloped oval.  The image is a brass stencil.  I pressed Versa Mark Ink on the stencil opening and then used Chinese Red ep from Antiquities.  The ribbon and clear sticker are my stash.

BTW I just ordered and reserved my copy of the Technique Junkie new CD due out in March called Emboss or Die.  Just think, when I get the CD in March all this snow will be over!--Well, maybe a little spring snow, but they never last long!  I just hope I'm shoveled out by then!  Stay warm, stay inside, especially if your in the midwest of the USA.

Thanks for looking.
Joyce
